This pic is of Rosario Dawson at the premiere of her film Unforgettable. Although I generally like gold dresses, I do not like this gold dress that much. The bust looks like a shelf and I like the slit but not the fanfare at the top. Unforgettable is a thriller in which Rosario plays the fiancée and soon-to-be stepmom to Katherine Heigl’s character’s ex-husband. Apparently Katherine’s character does not care for the new arrangements and is a psychopath who sets out to destroy Rosario in every way imaginable. You can watch the trailer here. I was pretty interested in the film until the reviews came out. They are… not good. But Rosario need not worry about bad reviews as she has plenty to keep her busy with her reoccurring role of nurse Clare Temple in all the Marvel TV series. If that isn’t enough, she has a new shoulder to cry on as well. The world discovered on Valentine’s Day this year that Rosario and comedian Eric Andre are a thing. I don’t know how long they have been together but this Valentines post was when they became social media official:

Because Eric’s brand of humor revolves mainly around pranks, that was exactly what everybody thought this was, an elaborate set up. So the couple took to posting increasingly more demonstrative photos to “prove” they were a legit item. While on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Rosario talked about her relationship with Eric and assured everyone that he is, in fact, “her man.” Plus, Rosario said he’s not only dedicated but a good influence on her.

In case you needed more proof that Rosario Dawson is dating comedian Eric Andre, the actress gushed over her boyfriend and promised that their relationship was real during her appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

When the late-night television host asked Dawson about their reaction to people not believing the reality of their relationship, she revealed that Andre took to social media to prove it’s real after Chance the Rapper texted her in disbelief. “He started posting more pictures of like our tongues touching and stuff, like personal pictures,” she said. “I was like, ‘you’re still a millennial man. You don’t post the tongue pictures!’”

She also spoke on how caring he has been as a boyfriend sharing the story of her recovery from an emergency surgery from a ruptured cyst on her ovary. “He took care of me in an adult diaper. That is love,” she said.

Andre also has the Unforgettable star learning healthy habits including meditating and journaling.

I am all about a sense of humor so I wouldn’t have questioned this for a minute, had I known. If anything, the over-the-top pics would have made me suspect but I get that’s his schtick. He sounds centered and she’s inspirational in her activism so I assume they will bring out the best in each other, which is one of the great parts about any relationship. I hope her daughter approves.

You know, Rosario is known for her advocacy but leafing through Eric’s Instagram (NSFW), he’s looks pretty involved himself. I wonder if maybe that’s how they came together. Now that everything is all confirmed, and given their openness with their PDA, I’m sure we will be getting the full scoop in interviews. She has The Defenders coming out, he always pops up somewhere. Plenty of promo space to give us the deets to their “thing.”

Since Unforgettable promotion coincided timeline-wise with the one-year anniversary of Prince’s death, Rosario is getting a lot of Prince questions. And she is not disappointing with her Paisley Park stories.
