English musician Edward Christopher Sheeran was born on February 17, 1991. He started writing songs around the age of eleven.
He was raised in Framingham, Suffolk, and was born in Halifax, West Yorkshire. Early in 2011, Sheeran independently released No. 5 Collaborations Project, an extended play. The following year, he signed with Asylum Records.
Wife and Children
Cherry Seaborn, a lifelong friend and former classmate from high school, and Sheeran started dating in July 2015. In January 2018, they made their engagement public, and they got hitched a year later. She served as the basis for the song “Perfect.”
On August 12, 2020, it was announced that the couple was expecting their first child. Sheeran revealed on Instagram on September 1 that Seaborn had given birth to a girl the week before and on May 19, 2022, they had their second child, a daughter.
Parents and Siblings
His mother worked at Manchester City Art Gallery, while his father was a curator at Cartwright Hall in Bradford.
Matthew, his older sibling, is a composer.
